This past weekend was busy to say the least, the fundraiser was on Saturday and then Sunday Josh preached at Desperation Church in Cullman. I have been emptied and filled again for sure and left oh so thankful for so many reasons. We are so grateful to so many people even though many of you are anonymous. But we are so thankful to everyone and anyone who helped us this weekend in anyway. From those who gathered supplies, donated, volunteered, or prayed for this event, you'll never know how much you're appreciated.

After a long night of fun and fellowship with old friends and new ones, not to mention one of the best football games I've ever seen, we got home. Josh and I were thinking the same thing, although he said it first "Rip that football open!!" We busted my beautiful paper mache football and began to count. Our thoughts went back to when we were fundraising for our adoption. The tally got higher and higher and higher. By the time it was all said and done, we raised through donations, $4,099!!!!! God has blown us away again. We thought if we raised $1000, then this fundraiser would be a huge success. As if we needed anymore confirmation of this trip, God gave us more. One of my favorite quotes says, "God funds what he favors!".
This puts our total funds to date at above $13,000. We still have work to do, but God is showing out once again. Please continue to pray for us as we prepare for this trip. We will have more fundraisers coming later. We're thinking fish frys, pancake breakfasts, and whatever else we can think of. And of course one last yard sale..Haha!
So let me close this post in the same way we started.........thank you, thank you, thank you.
