Many who will read this blog may already be familiar with the "ministry" that we are highlighting on Day 2 of the twelve days. Jeremy and Kandy Sanders, and their three children, Sam, Olivia, and Everett are originally from the Gardendale area and are very close friends of ours. About a year and a half ago, they moved to Los Fresnos, TX to attend the Center for Pioneer Church Planting (CPCP) with To Every Tribe Ministries. Jeremy has about six more months of his 2 year training remaing at the CPCP, and within a few months after graduating, they will be moving to Papua, New Guinea to serve as full time missionaries. (Please read more about this family at www.sanderspartyoffive.blogspot.com).
To Every Tribe will be the Sanders' sending agency. To Every Tribe's mission is to focus on unengaged people groups (right now they are working primarily in Papua New Guinea and Southern Mexico). These are groups that not only have not heard the Gospel, but currently have no one planning to take it to them. These are more often than not, hard to reach, extremely dangerous places, and the people groups are many times hostile. This is exactly where the Sanders family is going. Their passion is making Christ known where he has not been known before. What an honor and a priviledge!!!

But they need help getting there, and they need help while they are there, and you have the opportunity to help with one or both of those this Christmas!! We hear of sponsoring children all the time (think WorldVision, Compassion International, etc.), but what about sponsoring missionary families? We've made it as simple as it can possibly be. Click here to donate, follow the instructions and select Jeremy and Kandy Sanders to donate to. You can choose a one time donation in honor of someone (AWESOME CHRISTMAS GIFT, by the way), or your family can "sponsor" the Sanders family with a monthly sponsorship now and while they're on the field.
I don't want to sound too cliche, but this is honestly a gift that will keep on giving in an eternal sense. Whether you give financially or not, please be in prayer for the Sanders as they continue this journey that God has placed them on.
Josh and Kim
