Day 7: 147 Million Orphans

Two moms, 13 kids, 7 adoptions

If you've hung around my wife for any period of time, you've seen her at some point in a 147 Million Orphans shirt or necklace or earrings or bag or something!  I even have a couple of shirts myself.  147 Million Orphans was started by 2 women, Suzanne Mayernick and Gwen Oatsvall, who are both adoptive moms of BIG families and are passionate about Gospel centered orphan care.  Kim has gotten to spend some time with both of these ladies and they are the real deal.

They started 147 Million Orphans with three main objectives: to provide food, water, and medicine to children in need worldwide, to bring awareness to the orphan crisis, and to assist adoptive families with fundraising through the sale of original and handmade products.  Have they done this?  Check this out.

Every product you buy goes toward one of these incredible objectives.  Do you need Christmas gifts for someone is incredibly hard to buy for?  Shop here.  They have great products for women, men, and the little ones.  With every purchase you make, YOU even get to specify where you want your funds to go:  Uganda, Haiti, Nicaragua, where it's needed most, etc.  This year they also have added Donation Cards (Check them out here.) where you can purchase the card in someone's name as a gift and let them choose how it's used!  Get one for your pastor, Sunday school teacher, child's teacher, etc. and see if it's not the best, most unique gift they will receive this year.

Even Tim McGraw supports these guys!!

147 Million Orphans is an incredible ministry that has a heart for Jesus and a heart for orphan ministry.  They weaving these two things together in amazing ways, and making a gigantic impact in so many lives.  Consider supporting this ministry this year!
